This 28-day program will support you in identifying habitual patterns that may no longer nourish your overall well-being.  Habits that deplete your energy and impact all relationships. Everything in life is about relationships. Habitual patterns create either a reaction or response.  Reactions come from a place of survival and responses come from a place of revival.  In this program, you will gain insight into what the voice in your mind sounds like, movement and breathing patterns, daily nutritional intake as well as the way you communicate with others.

The time is now to breathe life back into your wellness. It is time to go from a place of survival to revival.  When the mind and body are integrated and function at the optimal level, you will expend less energy versus depleting your energy reserves daily.  It takes 28 days for the body/mind to detach from old habits and to create new habits. This program will give you the opportunity to create a new pathway of clear intentional action in your daily life. Clear intentional action rebuilds your energy reserves and revives your overall well-being.

The uniqueness of this program goes back to the simplicity of the "why" behind the practice of yoga.  The intention of the practice is to quiet the fluctuations of the mind to have clear perception of oneself and others.  The program introduces and utilizes the foundations of the 8-Limbed Path of Yoga philosophy. You will gain an understanding of how the limbs (tools) of the practice - self inquiry, movement, breath and meditation can revive and purify the perceptions that create behaviors and patterns.

8-Limbed Path of Yoga
Self-Inquiry external and internal self (Yamas/Niyamas)

Movement (Asana)

Breath (Pranayama)

Sense Withdrawal (Pratyahara)

Focus-Mindfulness (Dharana)

Concentration-Meditation (Dhyana)

In this two-day workshop, you'll learn how to notice and navigate a broad range of sensations and foster resilience. You'll experience and develop your own trauma-sensitive yoga sequences, for personal or professional use, integrating the grounding practices from module one with yoga poses taught in a typical class.  The focus will be on teaching to sensation versus appearance, as well as, how to anchor the body and joints in safety to encourage rhythm and resilience.
