The community of Simply Power Yoga works with various service projects by bringing yoga and mindfulness. The time dedicated from teachers and students of the community make these programs possible.
Community Service Projects
Simply Power Yoga works in partnership with the Juvenile Detention Centers in the State of Ohio and MaryHaven Youth Services to bring yoga and meditation to the juveniles who are residing at the centers. Yoga and meditation has become part of the core curriculum for the students. Simply Power Yoga continues to grow within the juvenile systems for At Risk Youth.
Simply Power Yoga is working in partnership with Project Yoga, a non-profit [501c3]. Project Yoga is dedicated to bringing the therapeutic and healing benefits of yoga to underserved and at-risk communities. They teach their constituents how to reduce stress levels, increase flexibility (in body and mind), and improve their emotional outlook through yoga, mindful breathing and meditation.
Africa Yoga Project
The Africa Yoga Project uses the transformative power of yoga to empower communities and change lives. By inspiring the global yoga community into active service, AYP delivers effective and innovative programs that foster peace, improve physical, emotion and mental well-being, facilitate self-sufficiency and create opportunities to learn and contribute across the communities of East Africa.
