I have been practicing yoga since 2004 and have had the opportunity to train with many different teachers and appreciate many disciplines of yoga. I have trained with Baptiste Yoga since 2008 and assisted programs throughout the United States for The Baptiste Institute. I am a graduate of the Bapstite Institute's FIT To Lead Program and a Tier 3 Baptiste Certified Teacher. In 2019, I completed an additional 200 Hour RYT Program with EmbodiYoga. My journey has led me to the love of anatomy and I just recently began a 500 Hour Program with Yoga Medicine.
My mother was the first person who introduced me to Yoga. She had battled the disease MS since her early 40s and was always searching for a way to support her physical and mental health. I discovered yoga many years later when I began searching for a way to support my health. After leaving Corporate America and distance running, yoga found me. It did not take me long to realize yoga had more to offer than just a physical practice. It was simple; yoga gave me the ability to breathe again and be fully present to all the amazing gifts that were right in front of me.
I love learning and integrating everything I have experienced into my classes and the programs of Simply Power Yoga. For the past nine years, I have led multiple retreats, workshops and teacher training programs for adults and teens. In addition, I have created multiple community outreach programs for youth throughout Ohio.
I want people to love and accept every part of who they are and discover joy within themselves through a practice that is playful and accessible yet challenging to the body, mind and spirit.
I live in Loveland Ohio with my husband, Ron of 29 years; two children Ronnie and Elisa; two cats Rocky and Kirby.
