I have been practicing yoga since 2004. I have had the opportunity to train with multiple teachers and appreciate many disciplines of yoga. I love the simplicity of the functional approach to the practice of yoga. Every body is unique and everybody has the ability to create a practice that works for them.

My mother was the first person who introduced me to Yoga.  She had battled the disease MS since her early 40s and was always searching for a way to support her physical and mental health.  I discovered yoga many years later when I began searching for a way to support my health.  After leaving Corporate America and distance running, yoga found me. It did not take me long to realize yoga had more to offer than just a physical practice. It was simple; yoga gave me the ability to breathe again and be fully present to all the amazing gifts that were right in front of me.

I love learning and integrating everything I have experienced into my classes and the programs of Simply Power Yoga. I am currently continuing my education with Yoga Medicine in the 1000 Hour Teacher Training.  For the past 15 years, I have led multiple retreats, workshops and teacher training programs for adults and teens.

I want people to love and accept every part of who they are and discover joy within themselves through a practice that is playful and accessible yet challenging to the body and mind.

My family is my foundation. I live in Loveland Ohio with my husband, Ron of 33 years. We have two children, Ronnie and Elisa. Ronnie and his wife, Joy serve our country in the United States Army. Elisa is exploring her PHD in Clinical Psychology at the Universty of Denver.  Our cats Rocky, Kirby and Sassy bring everyday laughter and joy to our home.
