I have been practicing yoga since 2004. I have had the opportunity to train with multiple teachers and appreciate many disciplines of yoga. I love the simplicity of the functional approach to the practice of yoga. Every body is unique and everybody has the ability to create a practice that works for them.
My mother was the first person who introduced me to Yoga. She had battled the disease MS since her early 40s and was always searching for a way to support her physical and mental health. I discovered yoga many years later when I began searching for a way to support my health. After leaving Corporate America and distance running, yoga found me. It did not take me long to realize yoga had more to offer than just a physical practice. It was simple; yoga gave me the ability to breathe again and be fully present to all the amazing gifts that were right in front of me.
I love learning and integrating everything I have experienced into my classes and the programs of Simply Power Yoga. For the past ten years, I have led multiple retreats, workshops and teacher training programs for adults and teens. In addition, I have created multiple community outreach programs for youth throughout Ohio.
I want people to love and accept every part of who they are and discover joy within themselves through a practice that is playful and accessible yet challenging to the body, mind and spirit.
I live in Loveland Ohio with my husband, Ron of 31 years; two children Ronnie and Elisa; two cats Rocky and Kirby.
