500 Hour Certified Baptiste Teacher, E-RYT® 500, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Certified, YACEP® , Reiki II Practitioner
I have been practicing yoga since 2004 and have had the opportunity to train with many different teachers and appreciate many disciplines of yoga. I have trained with Baptiste Yoga since 2008 and assisted programs throughout the United States for The Baptiste Institute. Just recently I began my journey with EmbodiYoga which has given me a whole new perspective on movement and breathing. Since 2010, I have led multiple retreats, workshops and teacher training programs for adults and teens. I have created multiple community outreach programs for youth throughout Ohio. I continue to evolve in the world of yoga through studies in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Therapeutics and Energetic Anatomy.
My mother was the first person who introduced me to Yoga. She had battled the disease MS since her early 40s and was always searching for a way to support her physical and mental health. I discovered yoga many years later when I began searching for a way to support my health. After leaving Corporate America, yoga found me. It did not take me long to realize yoga had more to offer than just a physical practice. It was simple; Yoga gave me the gift of presence, laughter and joy. I was present to all the amazing gifts that were right in front of me; my husband, children and family. I want people to love and accept every part of who they are and discover joy within themselves through a practice that is playful and accessible yet challenging to the body, mind and spirit.
I live in Loveland Ohio with my husband, Ron of 27 years; two children Ronnie and Elisa; two cats Rocky and Kirby.
